Mr. Punch of Belgrave Square will Continue on Monday

Our Mr. Punch has had quite a shock.  He learned that he had yet another bizarre sister.  Not only that, she's a horrible murderer.  Punch felt he had no other choice but to do something Punch-like, so he whacked her on the head and assumed she was dead.  He also took a good whack at Finlay, knocking the wicked footman unconscious.

When Robert and Georgie went back to move Ellen's body--while the others tied up Finlay--they were shocked to see that her corpse had been moved.  Or...well, maybe she wasn't dead.  Punch was pretty confident in his whacking skills and asserted that Ellen was deceased, but, still, some doubt remained.  As Robert and Mr. Punch went to seek out Ellen and Finlay's father, Johnny Donnan, the others stayed to watch over a tied up Finlay and a recovering Gerard.

On their way down, Punch and Robert stumbled upon Lady Constance who said she couldn't sleep knowing her mother's murderer was still in the house.  Punch tried to reassure her that he'd killed the murderer--their governess.  But, Lady Constance wasn't accepting that.  She insisted that the Baron Lensdown killed her mother.

But, the strangest thing was in store for Charles and Violet, both of whom had been dragged to the hunting cabin by Johnny Donnan.  As they tried to escape, the came upon a strange woman in the cabin's cellar.  She claimed to be Ellen Barrett--an idea at which both Charles and Vi scoffed.  However, the woman explained that as a girl, she had a maid named Orpha.  When she learned that her mother and father were actually her aunt and uncle, and that her real mother was the Duchess of Fallbridge, this woman turned to Orpha for comfort.  Orpha suggested that they switch names and the distraught young lady went with the idea--unaware that Orpha had wicked intentions.

Charles and Violet believed the woman and vowed they'd escape.  But, what exactly does that mean for Punch?  Did he kill the woman he thought was Ellen?  If she's still alive, who is she?  What is it that this Orpha Polk wants?  Are Finlay and Johnny aware of the deception?  What of the Baron Lensdown?  Does he know?  Did he kill the Countess Hamish?  What's Lady Constance's problem?

There's a lot in store this week.  Many questions will be answered and many more will be raised.  You won't want to miss a Chapter, but if you do, you can catch up in the Chapter Archive.

Thanks for reading!
