Once, again, Mr. Punch, with my help, is offering up a true Victorian riddle. The first person to answer correctly--by posting in the comments--will receive public congratulations.
So, here's this week's riddle. We ask that you don't Google the answer. Mr. Punch would not find that sporting at all. Give it a shot and see what you can come up with. Here we go... No cheating...

Who are the two brothers who live on opposite sides of the road, yet, never see one another?
AND THE ANSWER IS...
A person's eyes, on either side of his nose.
Well done, today, all! Bertie picks Darcy's and Dashwood's answers as his favorite. And, I think you were all quite clever.
Come back next week for another of Mr. Punch's Puzzles.

Two of those annoying Baldwins. I don't know their names. The fat one and the pious one.
They're interchangeable.
My uncle Tony and uncle Pauly. They hate each other.
As they should.
my mother in law's front teeth.
Beautiful.
The chicken and the egg.
Uhhhh...no.
Frank and Jesse James. I don't know why. I couldn't think of other famous brothers.
Fair enough.
This would be Phineas and Alberto Queasy who at one time were good friends and bought cottages across from one another. Unfortunately both of them took a fancy to Bo Peep who strung them along and wasn't at all sheepish about sharing her affection. She also didn't tell them about her other paramour, Louie "Big" Egg. One of the sheep, it seems, told Louie about Peep's infidelities and somehow Phineas lost his vision in an accident involving flash bulbs. Alberto managed to get his head stitched into a black cloth bag that just wouldn't come off. Bo Peep and Louie (aka "Big") Egg went to a sheep ranch in Australia for a couple of months until the dust cleared.
Really.
That's very plausible.
Ernest and Julio Gallo.
In their rush to the wine vats they never seemed to notice one another. Or maybe they were just "blind" drunk.
More the latter, I think.
Orville and Wilbur. The clouds get in the way.
Clever.
The Smith Brothers. Too busy coughing.
They need Ludens.
Minneapolis and St. Paul.
I think they're sisters.
Uncle Ben and Chef Boyardee.
Brothers from another mother.
