Once, again, Mr. Punch, with my help, is offering up a true Victorian riddle. The first person to answer correctly--by posting in the comments--will receive public congratulations.
So, here's this week's riddle. We ask that you don't Google the answer. Mr. Punch would not find that sporting at all. Give it a shot and see what you can come up with. Here we go... No cheating...
Two
bodies have I, though both join'd in one;
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
The stiller I stand, the faster I run.
UPDATE:
And, the answer is:
AN HOURGLASS
Public congratulations to Dashwood who came back with the right answer! But, also, public congratulations to our many other posters who continue to keep me smiling each Friday. Make sure to come back next Friday for another of Mr. Punch's Puzzles. That's the way to do it!

Conjoined twins.
In a manner of speaking.
Shirley MacLaine.
Thats two souks not two bodies.
The earth and moon.
Interesting! Oh...and, in response to Matt, I meant SOULS. I don't know what a souk is.
Punch.
Awww...thanks for the reference. But, no.
A souk is a sock from Ikea.
A woman's bust.
NO!
No. No. No.
I don't want to hear of running busts.
A one way monkey riding a one trick unicorn.
I would pay to see that.
Two nuns in a blender.
Wait, Dashwood...on further reflection, that's the punch line to "What's black and white and red all over?"
A planet.
Planet Angelo.
On second thought could it be an hourglass?? Two thingums joined together that don't run well unless standing still??
Or Two Nuns in an Hourglass???
That's right! The former--not the latter. That's never right.
