The Art of Play: The Kings and Queens of England Game, 1901-1910

The Victoria & Albert Museum
This fun card game was produced as an advertising scheme for the Mazawattee Tea Company between 1901 and 1900.

This game is meant to be played like Happy Families with the aim to collect “families” of monarchs from William I (ruled 1066–87) to Edward VII (ruled 1901–10). The backs of the cards advertise the Mazawattee Tea Company.
