Since I started this site several years ago, I've been determined to maintain seven daily posts, seven days a week.  Every so often, I'd miss a day, and I would take a few days off here and there, but, overall, I've been dedicated.  Except lately.  Lately, I've not been able to keep up with it, and, when I have, it's been repeats.

Time has not been my friend of late.

So, since my schedule has been overwhelming, and will continue to be for the next few weeks, I should just accept that posting may be spotty for awhile.  I apologize for that.  When I can, I'll get a few interesting articles up and I have a backlog of "Treats of the Week" for you.

Keep coming back.  I promise I'll get my act together soon.

The Plotting of the Schedule

Ah, last week was a busy mess.  

I still owe you two Treats of the Week (one being Bertie-themed) as well as many chapters of A Recipe for Punch.  

My great hope is that this coming week will be more manageable.  It's my intention to pick up with business as usual.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.  

Tuesday Distractions

The Victoria & Albert Museum

Good day, all.  My intention was to offer up some fun and beautiful items and a new chapter of A Recipe for Punch, however, as it turns out, today is going to be rather hectic and busy.

In light of that, we'll be taking today to deal with some unanticipated distractions.  

Hopefully, all that nonsense will be behind us tomorrow.  By, "us" and "we," of course, I mean "me."  After all Bertie, Miss Oscar and Punch have very little which interrupts their schedules.

Coming this Week to Stalking the Belle Époque

With Valentine's Day close upon us, this week, we'll be looking at a host of romantic objects, glittering jewels and precious greetings.  I'll also share with you some antique Valentines from my own collection.

Meanwhile, Mr. Punch of Belgrave Square will continue with new chapters as the household still recovers from Jenny's murder.  Orpha finds an ally with a past connection to Mr. Punch, and, unfortunately for our heroes, their union will unleash a whole torrent of new wickedness on the residents of No. 65.  Furthermore, a misunderstanding will add fuel to Orpha's fire.  Also, look for Gerard and Gamilla's journey to the altar to continue to be difficult.

We will be off on Monday, February 11,  but we'll be back to business as usual on Tuesday.  I'm quite eager to share all of this with you.
