Object of the Day: A Souvenir from Buckingham Palace, 1994
Because I needed more Royal souvenir mugs, that’s why.
I recently added a few more Royal souvenirs to my collection. One of them is this pretty little handled cup with gilt details and a lovely cerulean foliate pattern.
This cup of fine bone china was made as a souvenir of Buckingham Palace in 1994. Visitors to the palace would, naturally, want to take home a souvenir which would remind them of their tour. The pattern of this cup would serve to remind them of the beauty and elegance of the Queen’s official London home.
Speaking of the Queen, this year marks her Diamond Jubilee. As we celebrate her sixty years on the throne, we not show our appreciation of Her Majesty's service to the world with one of our exclusive "Diamond Jubilee" designs. And, remember, you can discuss the Royal Family in our new online community.
