Cinnamon, mace, cloves, nutmeg, allspice and brown sugar give these delicate spice cupcakes a mellow kick and a wonderful rich flavor. They’d be perfect with a variety of different kind of icings or glazes, but my mother has iced them to perfection by piping rich mocha cream in a delicious swirl atop each one.
Cupcakes are wonderful things! It’s not surprising that they’re so wildly popular right now. They’re always the right amount of cake and icing. Many bakeries devoted entirely to cupcakes have been appearing lately. I know, however, that my mother’s artistry puts them all to shame.
If you’d like to bring some spice to your life, a quick internet search for spice cupcake recipes will give you more of a hint than I possibly could. I would like to recommend including the mocha icing—it’s a superb combination of chocolate and coffee and goes beautifully with the spice cake.

There's no end to the yummy goodies, is there? This look very delicious too.
I would eat both tiers of that display. There's this show called Cupcake War on TV where these people make tousands of cupckaes, but not one of them looks as good as these do!!!!
MMMMMmmmmmmm....
Thanks, everyone!
