Blueberry muffins—the very thought is pleasing. There’s just something about a good blueberry muffin that’s very satisfying. I mean real blueberry muffins—not the ones that have those hard little fake blueberries and come wrapped in plastic.
This week’s treat from my mother’s kitchen is a basket of lovely muffins. Literally bursting with fresh blueberries, these muffins have been baked to golden perfection—their tops happily glimmering with cinnamon and sugar.

Oh, Fran, I understand. Next to these any muffins I tried to bake would look like blueberry coasters.
