Once, again, Mr. Punch, with my help, is offering up a true Victorian
riddle. The first person to answer correctly--by posting in the
comments--will receive public congratulations. And, this week, the winner
will receive a fabulous prize from our online store—your very own “That’s the
Way to Do It!” tote-bag! We tried for
this last week, but no one guessed the correct answer. So, let’s try it again!
Here's this week's riddle. We ask that you don't Google the answer. Mr. Punch would not find that very fair, and, then, he’d cry. We don’t want that. Do we? Give it a shot and see what you can come up with. Here we go... No cheating...
A boy said to his sister, “I saw something in town that would tickle you.” “Oh!” she said, “was it a monkey?” “No.” “Was it a dancing bear?” “No. It was —”

The prince of Wails
Ha! WAILS, no. Funny, but, no.
Itching powder.
Um, Sam, wouldn't itching powder be just...itchy?
A dancing monkey?
Well I'D like to see that. But, that's not it.
Aunt Vicky and Uncle Al (aka the tickle monsters). They set up a Tickle booth at the fete every year. They'll tickle anybody for half a crown. (Sorry I think I got carried away.)
Ah, Darcy! I like the thought of Their Majesties opening a tickle booth! I can see both of them being quite vicious as tickle monsters! You get the distinction of most wonderfully thought-provoking answer thus far!
Lots of spring pollen. 'Choo!!
True, it tickles those with noses. But, that's not the sort of tickle we mean.
A palace guard?
They can tickle, I guess, but not smile. Not quite it...but, thanks.
A Punch and Judy show
Yay! That would tickle me! But, that's not the answer.
I think it's a trap to quote Admiral Akbar. Is the answer---a feather?
Yes! Gene you are correct! You're our winner. Email your full name and address to BelleEpoque@tx.rr.com so that I can send you your very own "That's the Way to do it" tote bag! Hooray for you!
