Reminder: "Punch's Cousin" Will Return on Monday

Last week, Mr. Punch had an uneasy journey within the body he shared with Julian, the Duke of Fallbridge. To begin with, after the shock of finding that his nephew had been abducted, Mr. Punch found himself battling a personality he didn’t know existed—Jack Ketch. Having taken the form of the hangman from the puppet show, Julian’s sense of guilt developed into an entity that was bent on nothing but punishment. Punch managed to vanquish the hangman, but in doing so, uncovered yet another personality. First just a mysterious French-accented voice, the personality revealed itself to Punch as Guignol. Guignol asserted that he was the infrequently-employed rational side of Julian. Still furious, Punch willed Guignol away, but quickly regretted his actions when he realized he still didn’t know where Julian was hidden. At that moment, Punch remembered the key that Naasir had given him. Soon, Punch became aware that the imaginary space within their body was much larger than he thought.


Of course, while all of this was going on, Julian’s body had stopped breathing. Luckily, he once again began to draw breath, much to the relief of Marjani, Robert and Adrienne who watched helplessly.

Meanwhile, Barbara Allen—despondent that she’d been rejected by everyone tried to commit suicide by jumping into the river. She was rescued by an shadowy figure who, at first, seemed kind, but later revealed himself to be Louis Glapion—the brother of Marie Laveau’s deceased second husband. As Louis was about to carry Barbara to Marie’s house, she was spied by Charles who was searching for “Colin’s” abductor. Will Charles be able to free Barbara? We’ll find out this week.

And, speaking of Marie Laveau, she turned out to be the person who was responsible for Colin’s kidnapping. Upon the arrival of Iolanthe Evangeline and Ulrika Rittenhouse, Marie convinced Iolanthe to join her in her scheme—much to the delight of Ulrika who was finally recovered from being drugged by Arthur.

Similarly, Arthur realized he had problems of his own. Coughing up blood, Arthur was suffering. Gerard began to think that Arthur had contracted Yellow Fever. Will Arthur get what he deserves? This week has all the answers.
