Coming this Week at "Stalking the Belle Époque"

Though the weather outside is frightful (I hate Summer—not being a fan of heat and sunshine), we’re keeping things cool at Stalking the Belle Époque next week with a look at some of the most soothing stones, paintings and sculptures that can be found the world over.

I’m particularly excited about the items I’ve found to share with you this week. We’ve got some rare and particularly exceptional items in store. We’ll take a look at the most magnificent jewels, most of which aren’t available for public viewing. Majestic paintings, glittering fans, luxurious sculptures, intricate clocks, unusual artifacts and soaring architecture will distract us from the hideous heat.

And, of course, there will be puppets. Lots of puppets, but especially our Mr. Punch. You can also look forward to the distraction of antique toys and some superb classic films.

So, let the sun beat down. We’ll stay in the shade and let our eyes travel the world.
