A wonderful dinner of my mother’s homemade red sauce and meatballs takes center stage as this week's "Treat of the Week." Accompanying the dinner was a luscious, cool salad with a fresh vinaigrette dressing and a crusty ciabatta loaf.
For dessert, we have one of my favorites. Blueberry muffins! Versatile, little things, these muffins--they're perfect for breakfast, yet, but they can accompany any meal or serve as a snack of their own. This batch is special, infused with finely-ground pecans and topped with the crunch of turbinado sugar.
A simple meal is very often the best!
