Treat of the Week: A Chocolate Pear Tart

Luxurious slices of pear blend perfectly with the deep, intoxicating flavor of chocolate in this new creation from my mother’s kitchen. This flourless tart features the rich flavors of walnuts and pears set against a beautiful brownie-like base. Adorned with piped, freshly-whipped cream, this is a moist and flavorful dessert that’s perfect for autumn.

It actually does taste like brownie with a topping of fresh pear. I find this to be particularly amazing since the batter, as I said, as no flour in it. How exactly all of the works is beyond my abilities of understanding. But, it does, indeed work. And, I’m very glad about it.
